Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review state and city income/franchise tax returns and
supporting schedules
Analyze and respond to state tax notices and defend against state
tax audits
Research state tax laws and collaborate on process improvement and
automation projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in tax
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access applications
Experience with PeopleSoft, Checkpoint, and OneSource preferred
CPA preferred
