Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support K-8th grade students in elementary schools, with two openings located in Valencia, CA, and Covina, CA. This contract role runs from the start date as soon as possible through the end of the current school year, providing a unique opportunity to deliver critical speech therapy services within the school setting. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-8 students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Conduct therapy sessions both individually and in groups to improve speech and language skills. Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports to track student development. Communicate effectively with staff and parents to coordinate services and provide support. Preferred Qualifications: Credentials: School-based SLP certification, Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working with elementary school populations, particularly K-8 students. Strong knowledge of school-based therapy protocols and special education processes. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and professionalism. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
