AmericaJob Description:The Electrophysiology sector within Johnson
& Johnson MedTech is recruiting a Lead Analyst for the Capital
Contract Management team located in Irvine, CA. Johnson & Johnson
Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer
support services to key health care customers, including hospital
systems and group purchasing organizations (GPOs), leading health
plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care
institutions. The company also provides contract management,
logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson &
Johnson sectors. Contract Management is responsible for the
development and execution of contract strategies and execution for
customers within Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology
sector. Contract Management includes the development and delivery
of Contracting Strategies (contracting options / parameters by
customer segment), Customer Analytics (preparation of
customer-ready analytics and materials for the field to support
customer updates and negotiations), Contract Administration
(Contract executing, loading, and tracking compliance) and Contract
Pricing Committee governance (rules and processes for approving
deal exceptions). The Contracting group works in close
collaboration with the field to put together the most appropriate
offering (products, pricing, solutions, and T&Cs) for the
customer as possible while still supporting the objectives and
strategies of the business. The Lead Analyst, Capital Contract
Management is responsible for leading all aspects of the processes
related to contract creation including drafting, negotiation,
redlining, executing, contract activation and contract maintenance
in support of the Electrophysiology sector contracts associated
with IDN's, Regional and National GPOs and Federal Government
requisitions and statements of work. The Lead Analyst will
supervise individual contributors and is accountable for conducting
effective performance management. Implements daily offer
development, contract development, or contract management
processes. Drafts multifaced contractual agreements from
preparation through execution. Serves as a point-of-contact for
internal partners and develops strategic relationships to drive
contracting opportunities for the organization. This role will
provide support to Account Management (Directors Strategic
Accounts, Contract Directors and other field personnel) for
Electrophysiology (EP). The Lead Analyst will conduct a needs
assessment and ensure contracts are compliant and profitable across
the company's portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team
(e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring
achievement of team goals within expected standards.
- Assists managers in implementing policies and procedures that
facilitate the administration, negotiation, and management of
contracts and service agreements in compliance with regulatory
requirements.
- Directs workflow by coordinating pre-sales contract activities
such as drafting requests for complex and intricate proposals,
reviewing and evaluating bids, and preparing responses for due
diligence requests.
- Lead and facilitate successful completion of Regional GPO
RFIs/RFPs (bids) and Federal Government contracts, in partnership
with internal subject matter experts including but not limited to,
Assistant General Counsel, Health Care Compliance Officer & VP of
Law.
- Drives the offer development, leads demanding and challenging
contract negotiations, and administers contracts, with limited
oversight.
- Act as a primary point of contact (POC), for direct reports,
junior colleagues and internal stakeholders to answer questions
related to the contract, resolve issues as appropriate, lead the
redline process and collaborate and influence Customers, internal
partners and US Commercial Programs Legal Group as necessary, to
review and analyze contractual terms and conditions in order to
achieve acceptable language.
- Identifies and implements best practices and process
improvements and supports strategic initiatives in an effort to
improve turnaround time processes and workflows.
- Directs the implementation of new and revised contract policies
and processes that contribute to business growth and drives
contracting opportunities with industry leading suppliers and
clients.
- Implements tactical and operational plans for facilitating risk
assessments for potential and/or actual organizational, compliance,
and/or regulatory risks with respect to external partner contracts
and contracting activities.
- Responsible that the weekly Contracts Pricing Committe (CPC)
submission form requests from team members are complete and
accurate before formal presentation to business leaders.
- Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives
into team goals and decision-making.Qualifications Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with a concentration
such as Finance, Management, Accounting, or the equivalent
preferred
- Master's degree, MBA or advance certification is
preferred.Required Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of six (6) years total overall business experience is
required with a minimum of 4 to 5 years in contracting and/or
experience negotiating in the healthcare industry is required.
- Experience in leading and supervising teams in a fast-paced
environment.
- Experience working with customer and field sales facing teams
is required.
- The demonstrated ability to align the goals of multiple
partners towards successful outcomes is required.
- Able to assume personal ownership and accountability for
facilitating / owning the accomplishment of objectives is required.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to establish mutually
beneficial objectives, clarify roles and accountabilities with
business partners is required.
- Able to constructively challenge the current state of affairs
by surfacing and influencing ideas for innovative approaches and
improvement is required.
- Able to articulate business situations clearly and accurately,
address and resolve issues by communicating difficult information
thoughtfully and respectfully is required.
- Experience collaborating with and supporting multiple business
units or sectors is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must possess sense of urgency, organizational & time management
skills to thrive in an environment where there are multiple
competing daily priorities.Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Contracting and supporting systems (e.g. SalesForce, DocuSign
e-signature,) experience is preferred.
- Experience working with State, Local Government and VA
contracts and solicitation requests.
- Understanding of FAR clauses and Statements of Work.
- Experience in leading departmental and/or cross company/cross
functional projects is preferred.Physical working conditions /

- This role may require up to 10% domestic travelThe Company
maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation
programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for
an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the
applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus
intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results
by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over
a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's
discretion on an individual basis. ---
