Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Counsel to
provide underwriting support and expertise related to real estate
title insurance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real
estate title insurance commitments and policies
Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines to underwrite the
issuance of title insurance
Guide company personnel in the performance of real estate
settlement services
Required Qualifications
Law Degree required
Admitted to practice in the state of employment
Licensed to practice law, in good standing
8-10 years of title underwriting experience
Familiarity with real estate law and related Federal and State
regulations
