Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 per year A bit about us: An established midsized firm in Los Angeles has an immediate opening in their law and motion department for an attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience. We are seeking attorneys with experience drafting substantive motions, including motions for summary judgement, motions to dismiss, and drafting oppositions. Attorneys with additional appellate experience are encouraged to apply. Core responsibilities for this position include: Drafting substantive motions including motions to dismiss and summary judgments Preparing compelling oppositions to a variety of motions Assisting with related appeals and appellate strategy Filing and arguing legal briefs in state and federal courts Attending hearings alongside senior attorneys The ideal candidate is an innovative problem solver with strong written advocacy skills as this is primarily a writing based role.
