Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Site Specialist Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
91320 Duration: 3 months Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour. on W2 Job Description: As part of the
Client’s team, you’ll contribute to meaningful work that positively
impacts global health and safety. Join us in enabling customers to
make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This position plays a
key role in supporting research, development, and manufacturing
operations through expert preparation of custom media formulations
and a commitment to laboratory excellence. Key Responsibilities: ·
Perform media and buffer preparation operations for research,
quality, and process development (GLP and GMP support). · Conduct
complex calculations, pH titrations, chemical inventory tracking,
aseptic techniques, microbial agar plate prep, and cell culture
media preparation. · Weigh and dispense raw materials for solution
preparation, filtration, and labeling. · Verify peer calculations,
review technical documents, and complete logbook entries. ·
Maintain laboratory inspection-readiness. · Adhere to Good
Documentation Practices (GDP), Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs), Work Instructions, and safety standards. · Support other
assigned duties as needed. Qualifications / Education: ·
Associate’s degree in a scientific field and a minimum of 1 year of
laboratory experience strongly preferred. · An advanced degree with
limited experience may also qualify. · Equivalent work experience
and education will be considered. Experience Requirements: ·
Previous experience in a laboratory setting required. · Experience
handling chemicals preferred. · Demonstrated excellence in customer
service is a must.
