TO: Domestic Violence Regional Coordinator JOB OVERVIEW The
Domestic Violence Client Care Support Staff plays a critical role
in advancing The Whole Child’s mission of ensuring every child has
a safe, stable, and nurturing home. This position supports families
impacted by domestic violence, human trafficking, stalking, or
interpersonal violence as they transition to or maintain stable
housing. Domestic Violence Client Care Support Staff provides
trauma-informed advocacy, housing support, safety planning, and
service coordination to a small caseload of families, promoting
long-term housing stability and overall well-being. In addition,
the role supports programmatic and administrative functions,
including documentation, data entry, and coordination of services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Case Management • Provide trauma-informed
advocacy and support to families affected by domestic violence,
human trafficking, stalking, or interpersonal violence • Assist
clients with housing navigation, including applications, referrals,
and follow-up to ensure stable placements • Conduct safety planning
and risk assessment with clients to support long-term wellbeing •
Coordinate and connect clients with community resources, including
mental health, legal, financial, and social services • Maintain a
small caseload of families, tracking progress toward individualized
goals • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the agency’s
electronic health record system, with progress notes submitted
within 24 hours Program Support & Administrative Tasks • Assist
with program operations, including scheduling, data entry, and
documentation of services • Support preparation of program files •
Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, partner
organizations, and community members • Communicate with internal
teams and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery •
Other related duties as assigned and approved by Domestic Violence
Regional Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS: Required • Minimum one (1)
year of experience providing domestic violence or victim services,
case management, or related support • Completion of a 40-hour
Domestic Violence Counselor Certification • Strong knowledge of the
social services field, including housing systems, trauma-informed
care, and crisis intervention Preferred • Bachelor’s degree in
social work, Psychology, or a related mental health or human
services field Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a
degree Key Competencies • Strong verbal and written communication
skills, including documentation and reporting • Excellent time
management, organization, and problem-solving abilities •
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
fast-paced environment • High level of empathy, professionalism,
and sound judgment • Comfortable advocating in landlord/tenant
relationships and engaging diverse populations • Proficient with
electronic recordkeeping and basic computer systems (e.g.,
Microsoft Office) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This description is

motor vehicle to frequently travel between offices, housing
appointments, and community events; valid California driver’s
license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance will
be required • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
(sitting or standing) for extended periods while conducting
intakes, meetings, and documentation • Must be able to move
throughout the shelter premises and office spaces • Frequent use of
computers, printers, copiers, and other office equipment • Regular
interaction with staff and clients • Occasionally required to lift
or transport items (e.g., toys, books) weighing up to 50 lbs •
Involves field work, including home visits, housing inspections,
